We are licensed and fully-insured.
Transitions Design-Build, LLC is a design-build firm that specializes in energy-efficient, new, custom-designed residential homes. We have experience in working with light commercial properties as well. The core values of our firm are to incorporate efficient design with sensitivity to the site. We take into consideration the environmental impacts of the site, building orientation, the transition from the outdoors to the indoors and vice versa, as well as the functionality and sustainability of the property. About Beth – Certified Interior Designer with a focus on Architectural Design
Beth is a co-owner and co-founder of Transitions Design-Build, LLC and is the lead designer for the firm. She graduated from University of Maryland College Park in 1984 with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design. Since then she has worked for several large design firms in Atlanta, D.C., Maryland and Virginia. She switched to working freelance in order to be able to raise her two daughters. As they grew up, she formed her own design firm.
Beth is certified through NCIDQ and licensed through DPOR.
When Beth isn’t drafting or space planning, she can be found in her garden. Even her garden has design to it! She loves to incorporate edibles with her perennial beds, with loud splashes of color. She also gets creative with her stained glass pieces and her metal works of art!
About Eric – Contractor
Eric is a co-owner and co-founder of Transitions Design-Build, LLC and is the lead contractor and builder. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in ____ with a Bachelors Degree in ___. Since then he has worked both for large construction companies in Atlanta and Northern Virginia and owned and operated his own companies. Eric has experience in large commercial construction, residential homes and in medical office construction with a specialty in MRI/CT Scan design, build and installation.
Eric is a Certified Passive House Consultant, DOE Challenge Home Partner, Certified SIPs Installer and licensed through DPOR.
Eric spends his free time sailing….
